KeepEezy is a receipt scanning and expense tracking app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use KeepEezy:

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
• Receipt data — images, vendor names, amounts, dates, categories, and payment methods of receipts you scan or upload
• Financial data — spending amounts and currency information extracted from your receipts
• Device information — operating system, app version, and approximate location (country/region) for analytics
• Usage data — features used, screens visited, and app feedback you submit
• Subscription information — your Pro subscription status and billing tier (payment details are handled entirely by Google Play and are never stored by us)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core app functionality — scanning receipts, tracking expenses, and generating reports
• To power AI features — your receipt data is processed by our AI assistant to answer your spending questions
• To manage your subscription and enforce plan limits
• To send transactional emails (e.g. subscription confirmation)
• To improve the app based on usage patterns and feedback
• To comply with legal obligations

Your data is stored securely in encrypted databases hosted on infrastructure provided by Neon (PostgreSQL) and Cloudflare (object storage for receipt images). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app, your data is permanently and immediately deleted from our systems.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may disclose data if required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data (available via the CSV export feature in the app)
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly inside the KeepEezy app at any time — no email or external website required:

1. Open the Profile tab (bottom navigation bar)
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm through the two-step confirmation dialog

Deleting your account permanently removes all your receipts, categories, preferences, and account data from our servers immediately. You are signed out of the app as soon as deletion is complete. This action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the app, you may also request account deletion by emailing support@keepeezy.app.

8. Children's Privacy

KeepEezy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
